Other Countries
Other countries as well as England keep an eye on the development of players at a Premiership club. Although the Centre of Excellence is focussed on developing England players as it is funded by the FA, Senior BCLFC players have played for other countries.
Amy McCann is part of Northern Ireland’s squad and got to play against England recently.
Milly Durrant has played for Wales a number of times and Kerrie Manley also played for Wales whilst she was at BCLFC.
Sophie Trigg has represented Wales well at U17s level a number of times as a BCLFC player.
More exotic places, including Cyprus, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and Nigeria have shown an interest in BCLFC players in the past.
Who knows where you may end up but a good starting point is BCLFC’s Open Day on 31 May - hope to see you there.
