Based on their 2007/8 signings, BCLFC can put out a very good Premiership team of players who have come through the junior teams.

Since the U12s and U14s were introduced to the club in the mid 1990s and the U10s and U16s in 2000, Birmingham City Ladies have focussed on developing junior players to their full potential.  The Centre of Excellence is currently going from strength to strength with the hope that this will provide most of the First Team players in the future with the added bonus of a second senior team being introduced in the 2008/9 season which will help to bridge the gap between the Centre of Excellence and First Team for players.

Birmingham City Ladies recognise that it is not only talent that is required for a young player to make it through to play Premiership or International football but an incredible amount of hard work from the player alongside the right experience.

There will be a chance at the Open Day to ask questions about the players who have progressed to the Premiership.
